The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity surveying activities across our construction and development projects, with a strong focus on site work, cost control, measurements, material quantities, and project monitoring. Key Responsibilities* Conduct accurate measurement and quantification of construction works and materials.* Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and project budgets.* Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets.* Carry out site measurements and valuations of completed works.* Review contractors’ quotations, invoices, payment applications, and variations.* Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts.* Monitor material usage and identify areas of wastage or cost overruns.* Liaise with contractors, consultants, site engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.* Conduct regular site inspections to verify the progress and quality of works against approved specifications.* Track project progress and provide accurate cost and quantity reports to management.* Review and assess variations, additional works, and change orders.* Support procurement by obtaining and comparing material and contractor quotations.* Maintain proper documentation and records of project costs, measurements, and valuations.* Provide cost-saving recommendations without compromising project quality.* Perform other quantity surveying and site-related duties as assigned by management.
