Requirements
Core Competencies & Skills
•Teaching experience at a maritime academy or similar institution.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Required Knowledge
•Valid STCW certifications for Able Seafarer Deck / Engine and oil / chemical tanker endorsements.
•Minimum 7 years of sea-going experience as a Bosun / Able Seafarer / Motorman/ Fitter (deck or engine) on board an ocean-going ship.
•Holds certificate of an Administration approved Train the Trainer course.
•Familiarity with IMO Model Course requirements and other industry standards
•Proficient in the use of machinery, equipment and tools and other maritime education technologies.
