Our Client a growing maize processing company in Ogun State is seeking an HR Officer to support daily human resources operations. The role involves recruitment, payroll assistance, employee records management, and staff engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll help implement HR policies and contribute to the efficient running of the workforce.
Job Summary
The HR Officer will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function. Reporting to the Head of HR, the role will focus on recruitment, payroll support, employee record management, and staff engagement activities. The HR Officer will help ensure smooth implementation of HR policies and systems, contributing to the efficient running of Olabel’s workforce.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in recruitment processes including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, and onboarding staff.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
• Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Assist with training and staff development initiatives.
• Provide frontline HR support to employees and respond to queries.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and labour regulations.
• Contribute to employee engagement and welfare programs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM) is an advantage.
• 2–4 years’ experience in HR administration or support roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or agribusiness environments preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
