About the Role
We are hiring an experienced HR Lead to oversee the full HR function across multiple retail and service locations. The ideal candidate has strong experience implementing HR systems in multi-branch environments such as retail chains, gyms, salons/spas, hospitality groups, or telecoms.
This role requires a balance of strategic HR leadership and hands-on operational oversight, ensuring structure, compliance, and efficiency across all outlets. The HR Lead will supervise the HR team, drive process improvement, and support business leadership in building a strong performance culture.

 

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the HR function across all business outlets.
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and HR frameworks
Oversee recruitment for all levels, especially volume and frontline hiring.
Drive performance management systems and employee evaluation processes.
Manage employee relations, disciplinaries, investigations, and conflict resolution.
Ensure consistent compliance with labour laws, grooming standards, and HR procedures.
Guide workforce planning, manpower scheduling, and staffing optimisation.
Lead HR reporting, analytics, and KPI tracking.
Coach and supervise the HR Executive and junior HR team members.
Support leadership in building a strong culture, engagement, and staff retention.
Conduct periodic outlet visits to monitor people operations and HR implementation.


Requirements
6–10 years HR generalist experience.

At least 3 years experience in retail, hospitality, fitness chains, telecoms, or other multi-outlet operations.

Proven experience supervising an HR team.

Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced, field-oriented environment.

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPM/SHRM/CIPD certification is an advantage.
