Job Summary
Freelance Video Editor (Gaming Content) – 3 Days/Week
I’m looking for a freelance video editor with strong experience in gaming content to work with me on producing engaging edits around game development and gameplay content.
This is a remote freelance role (3 days per week) where the ideal candidate will collaborate closely with me to push out high-quality edits for long-form and short-form content.
What You’ll Be Working On
Editing 10–15 minute long-form videos around game development and behind-the-scenes workflows
Creating short-form clips optimized for social media
Turning technical development processes into engaging, entertaining storytelling
Building visual assets, motion elements, and graphics from scratch when needed
Contributing creative ideas on how to make dev logs and gameplay content more engaging
Requirements
Proven track record editing gaming content
Ability to create assets from scratch when needed (graphics, overlays, motion elements)
Strong storytelling, pacing, and comedic timing for YouTube-style edits
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Aftereffects, Photoshop.
Experience editing YouTube and social-optimized content
Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines
Must Have
Motion graphics/animation skills
Familiarity with game development tools like Unity or Blender
Experience working on dev logs or behind-the-scenes gaming content
Compensation
₦250,000 per month

3 days per week (remote)
Interview Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a practical editing assessment to determine expertise. The strongest candidate will be selected for the role.
