Oceanphos is an independent media company. We research real events, write them with care, and publish them for a large online audience every day.

We are hiring a careful, reliable assistant to help run that daily publishing. This is a steady, same-time-every-day role for someone who takes pride in getting the details right. Commencement is immediate.

What you will do

• Prepare finished stories for publishing: formatting, headlines, and final checks.
• Source, prepare and lightly edit images to our standard (we train you on the tools).
• Publish and schedule posts across our platforms, following a written process exactly.
• Keep a simple daily log of what was published and flag anything that looks wrong.

Who we are looking for

• You write clear, correct English. Spelling and grammar must be clean.
• You are detail-obsessed. Accuracy matters more than speed.
• You can follow a written process exactly, every day, without cutting corners.
• You are reliable and consistent. This is a same-time-every-day job.
• You are comfortable working with images and online tools.
• You are honest, and you ask instead of guessing.

You must have

• A good working laptop (not a phone-only setup).
• Reliable power: generator, inverter or solar backup, so an outage does not stop the day.
• Stable, fast internet with enough data for daily online work.
• A quiet place to work.

Nice to have

• Basic photo editing, Canva or Photopea experience.
• Experience posting content or managing social media pages.
